In order to maintain the highest standard of research The Netherlands Cancer Institute has installed a national and international Scientific Advisory Board, consisting of internationally recognized scientists. Members of the board are frequently asked for advise by the Director of Research on issues such as appointment of faculty members, evaluation of research programs, and general research policies and to discuss with NKI researchers the quality, the significance, and the main focus of their research program.
